About me

I am a lecturer in the philosophy department at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada

My primary interests of research are in metaethics and normative ethics. Currently, my work focuses on questions about reasons, normativity, and rationality. I am also interested in normative questions related to the treatment of animals, the value of nature, and justificatory appeals to conscience in health care.

I also enjoy cooking, playing and watching hockey, walking with my dog, and spending time with my family.
